For the 10th time the magazines GIT SICHERHEIT + MANAGEMENT, GIT SECURITY and messtec drives Automation confer the GIT Security Award. More than 75.000 readers of the print magazines and online communities GIT-SICHERHEIT.de, GIT-SECURITY.com and PRO-4-PRO.com will vote the winners.
The BERNSTEIN enable foot switch is the first DGUV approved switch to combine the functionality of an enable switch in a foot switch! The enabling function is a typical safety function that is used in machines for set-up, cleaning or repair. The internal three-stage enable switch-in element is a two-channel version which has a dynamic signalling contact. An optional electronic PNP output is also available - this allows the static determination of position one or three of the enabling function. The enable foot switch is also available with a latching function in position three.
The enable function is currently only available in manually operated products. The integration of the enable function in a foot switch offers the operator more freedom when using the machines – enabling safe and efficient operation. Due to its status as an enable switch, this foot switch offers optimal solutions and complies with numerous C-standards including DIN EN 692 (mechanical presses) and DIN EN 12622 (hydraulic press brakes) for control units. Electrical impulses in the return flow from position three to position one are excluded due to the mechanical construction.
