Proven technology meets new designs
The versatile MAK-50 & MAK-54 magnetic switches

The MAK-50, with its particularly flat construction, and the MAK-54, with its sophisticated design, are specially designed to fulfil the safety requirements in industrial environments.

They are ideal for protecting doors, bonnets and flaps and fulfil the requirements of DIN EN 14119, DIN EN 60947-5-3.

They can also be used in applications in accordance with DIN EN 13849-1 and DIN EN 62061.

A family business in the 3rd generation

At the foot of the Kaiser Wilhelm monument in Porta Westfalica, Hans Bernstein founded the company "BERNSTEIN Spezialfabrik für Schaltkontakte" in 1947.

Today - more than 75 years later - the company is still family-owned and is managed in the 3rd generation by the grandchildren Achim and Nicole Bernstein.
