CSMS gained GIT Security Award 2014

BERNSTEIN has been awarded for its contactless safety monitoring sensor at the SPS IPC Drives 2013 in Nuremberg with the GIT Security Award 2014.

The company gained third position in Category A (Safe Automation), this prestigious award was presented on the first day of the exhibition at the stand of GIT Verlag.

The awarded product CSMS is a safety security sensor using RFID technology, enabling safety series circuits of up to 32 CSMS, up to PL e / SIL 3 (category 4).

The CSMS is a contactless safety sensor that ensures safety doors and protective guards remain in a safe state whilst machinery is in operation. The contactless sensor can be used individually or in series. Click here to find out more.

The GIT Security Award is a "reader’s choice" that is commended by the specialist journals GIT SICHERHEIT + MANAGEMENT,?GIT SECURITY and messtec drives Automation.

In the early summer, GIT VERLAG invited all manufacturers of safety products in different categories to submit their best products. A jury of experts then nominates ten products as finalists. Members of the jury are for example Birgit Sellmaier (VDMA), Dr. Reinhard Hüppe (ZVEI) as well as Stephanie Nickl (Chefredakteurin messtec drives Automation) and Regina Berg-Jauernig (Chefredakteurin GIT SICHERHEIT).
In the autumn editions as well as on the internet platform www.pro-4-pro.com, finalists are presented to more than 75.000 magazine readers who then vote for the winning entries.
